We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic CAD Trainer to deliver practical and industry-oriented training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). The trainer will be responsible for teaching CAD software, conducting hands-on exercises, guiding learners through projects, and helping students develop job-ready technical skills.
Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on CAD software.
Teach 2D drafting, 3D modeling, assemblies, and technical drawing.
Explain engineering drawing concepts, dimensions, tolerances, and drawing standards.
Provide hands-on training through practical exercises and real-world projects.
Create training materials, presentations, assignments, and project exercises.
Evaluate learners through tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
Mentor students during CAD projects and provide technical guidance.
Identify and resolve learners' software and design-related difficulties.
Keep training content updated according to current industry practices.
Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and training reports.
Coordinate with the training and placement team to improve learners' industry readiness.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
Knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, sections, views, and annotations.
Familiarity with one or more of the following is an advantage:
SolidWorks
CATIA
Creo
Autodesk Inventor
Fusion 360
Revit, depending on the training domain.
Basic knowledge of engineering design principles.
Ability to troubleshoot common CAD-related issues.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and practically.
Good classroom management and mentoring abilities.
Ability to train students with different levels of technical knowledge.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Passion for teaching and technical design.
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field, depending on the CAD specialization.
Prior experience as a CAD Designer, CAD Engineer, CAD Trainer, Design Engineer, or Drafting Engineer is preferred.
Relevant CAD certifications are an advantage.
